All is Well That Ends Well
My bill of $4300 for dental work only ended up costing me $777. Nice. The government of Canada picked up the rest.
The $777 and the $1299 from my glasses will be deductible on this years tax form. The government of Manitoba will pick up the $2000 for my hearing aids. I am one happy old lady. It still remains to be seen whether I have to pay any extra on my hearing aids. Don’t grow old but since we all do, take care of your eyes, ears and teeth. I am she these benefits won’t be there for my children and certainly not for my grandchildren.
It’s been fairly warm here the past while, but not the +37C of a month and a bit ago. The strawberries will be done soon, the Saskatoons will be done any day now ( they were two weeks early). Pretty soon the produce will be coming in hot and heavy. Looks like a good year for canning, freezing and dehydrating. I will not participate this year. My family doesn’t like home processed foods (yes they grew up on it). They only eat salads and protein. They are all super fit so if it works that’s okay. I am slowly changing my way of eating also. I currently do 17/7 fasting. It works for me.
