Birthdays Finneee
The first five birthdays are done. We had 10 for brunch at the local Sal’s restaurant. Boy were they busy, but She Who Must Be Obeyed had let them know a few days before so seating was no problem. Mr. Basketball was in a hurry. Not sure why he has to be at his game two hours before. The Grad was happy everyone could be there. Mr, Airplane was happy to see his dad and of course the rest of us lol. The Millwright was so happy to get a bonsai ginseng ficus for a gift. His future SIL is big into bonsai, so now they will work on their projects together. No, there won’t be a wedding for a long time as they just graduate high school this year. V. is planning to be an Emergency Response person and A is going through the two year nursing program. They have been together for two years and really suit each other. No pictures were taken, but here is one of the Grad and Mr. Basketball at their younger brother’s hockey game.
Youngest grandson had a more important birthday to go to… his best friend. The golfer did lots of driving that day.
Today it snowed, big, fluffy flakes. Got a few inches, but the temperature hit 6C so it is gone. Saturday it hit 18C so I cleaned up the sand gravel then did a bunch of stuff inside. After getting home Sunday, I did a few things. My body is getting used to to the extra types of jobs. Nice to not be sore all the time.
I had been asked to look after A next door after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays as mom works till 8:30 pm and dad works away two weeks on and one week off, or not. A lot depends on forest fires and what damage has been done to the train tracks over winter. The other days, I am here if A needs me.
Well back to walk time.
Jean
