HIVES

 I am, since I hit old age, susceptible to hives. To be more accurate, it started just before COVID did by just four months. It flares its ugly head regularly. I did not have them before this, now wondering if it was COVID I had before it was known and this might be the COVID rash. But, sorely it this not. It appears when I am anxious and believe you me, I win the prize for being anxious. Anyhoo, I have another batch of it. The only line I find is to take double Reactin for a few days, what’s the are twice a day and use a concoction of polysPoring,  cortisone cream and canesten cream. It usually takes a few days to clear, but this time I am thinking a week or two. 

Monday

Made my bed with the exception of washing my pillows.

Dusted

Watched some Netflix

Knitted ( have run out of wool)

Cleaned the oven

Washed a dark load

Ate sensible.

Tuesday

Did not make my bed

Picked up toys

Took Oakley to the groomers. He’s smiling and so am I. What a good job.

Bout 2.47 meters of flannel. It was on for $5.00 a meter

Ate sensibly 

Wednesday

Made my bed. Was nice to sleep on clean pillows

Loaded the dishwasher - not enough to spit on let alone run 

Walked Oakley many times. Still wearing cleats as it’s too icy still

Sat outside for an hour was so nice to feel the sun on my face and arms. Oakley had a snooze

Knitted on a summer sweater

Ate sensibly 

Thursday

Worked in my finances not good need to reassess my planning.

Walked Oaks a few times was beautiful out but chilly

Ordered a couple of stitch things from my friend.

Watched some YouTube 

Friday

Did some grocery shopping. Spent 66.00 on groceries and 23.00 on an orchid.

Got sick went to bed 

Saturday

Have a sore throat so laying low.

Went to store for a couple of things for sore throat. I never get sore throat.

They still had orchids on really cheap so I splurged. 

Been checking hockey scores all day. Grandson is playing. So far won 1, lost 1, they play in an hour again.  If they tie then they play again tomorrow. If they win or lose, then it’s over. He’s doing very well. 2 goals, 3 assists and 1 penalty. He has been asked to play AA spring hockey, which will be a real tryout for next season. It’s his decision. He like baseball equally with hockey. Will be interesting to see which one he chooses.
