YAY

 I have purchased one birthday gift and finished one Christmas present. I feel like I am on a roll. Hope to finish my winter sweater by the end of the month.

Good week. It warmed up.

Monday

I knitted most of the day. I also continued to clean out my studio. The Millwright and She Who Must Be Obeyed, came for the fay. He to put together my new chair and She to drink coffee and tell tales. She can now remember 1995 working in a convenience store and how to work the register, how much a newspaper cost and me waiting outside until she was safe inside to start her 6:00 am shift. That would make her 15 . She laughs that she can remember it it and of what use it is in her present life. Too funny

Tuesday

I tried to put air in my tire. It was so cold that I couldn’t get the stem cover off. We were able to do small walks. Oakley loves his walks. Too cold, too slippery. Knitted most of the day and worked on the studio from hell.

Wednesday

Still more knitting, but it is warmer by a degree or two lol. Still working on the studio. I did sandwich together a quilt, which I found that I have too little backing. This leads me to another WIP that was started 13 years ago. I wasn’t ready and dropped out part way through the three day course. My mind couldn’t grasp anything more than having lost my husband. I took it out and laid it out. I need to finish the top so I can use up the brown for the backing on the previous quilt. Oh what a tangled web I weave.

Thursday

Knitted all day. Meals have been hit and miss all week. Whatever falls out of the fridge freezer first is what I eat. Other than our four daily walks haven’t gone anywhere.

Friday

Picked up some meds, then gassed up the car. Finally got the stem cover off my tire. Commenced to over fill the tire. At least it isn’t flat. Boy, finances are going to be tough. The millwright may move in with me. He needs to leave his wife. She is a mental abuser. Her son has nothing to do with her and her daughter will graduate in June. She has a place to live while she works and goes on to further her education. The wife doesn’t have anything to do with her sister or her mother. She abuses people till they want to have nothing to do with her. Enough said.

Saturday

Worked on the quilt. Got carried away watching youtube videos and knitted.

Sunday

Finished the knitting project, made Kung Pao - a lot of it, took out chicken and cut up veggies for curried noodles which I will make on Monday. Walked a lot cause it is warm, now it is raining. Not good it will be super slippery walking tomorrow. Having said that I am so happy for the warmer weather. +2C. After the -30+ C plus windchills equaling -45C, +2C is balmy. 

Such a dull week, thankful for the sun
